At Valley Creek we believe that even the youngest among us can learn and grow in the Gospel! That is why we have Valley Creek Kids (VCK) to serve the needs of our children on Sunday mornings and help the Gospel take root in their hearts. We have a variety of classes for children and helpful home-discipleship tools for parents.

For your peace of mind: All of our childcare workers have completed background checks and are approved to serve with children.

Nursery care is available for sitting babies up to 23 months for the entirety of the worship service. Loving caregivers provide a safe and nurturing environment so parents can engage fully in worship.

Preschool (2 – 4 years)

Our Preschool class meets for the full service. Children participate in Bible stories, songs, crafts, age-appropriate activities, and snack time—all led by caring teachers who make learning about Jesus fun and meaningful.

Early Elementary (Kindergarten/5 Years – 2nd Grade)

We value worshiping together as a church family, so children in this group stay in the main service through the opening songs and prayers before being dismissed prior to the sermon. Their class includes catechism questions, Bible memory songs, hands-on activities, and engaging Bible lessons designed for their age.

Late Elementary (3rd – 5th Grade)

Like the Early Elementary group, these students remain in the main service until before the sermon. Their class features a dynamic, teacher-led curriculum with Scripture memory, catechism review, prayer, and Bible lessons supported by activities that encourage discussion and application.

Special Note: On fifth Sundays, children in Kindergarten through 5th grade stay with their families for the entire service, worshiping alongside the congregation.

We want to help parents establish rhythms of discipleship in the home. Each week, children receive a Take Home Page with a summary of their lesson, fun activities, and a QR code linking to parent resources. These tools make it easy to continue Scripture memory, catechism review, and Bible story discussion throughout the week.

By serving just once a month, you partner with parents in planting seeds of faith that can grow for a lifetime.
